(Bloomington, IL)–Shannon McKay, Vice President, Adkisson Search Consultants, Bloomington, IL received the American College of Healthcare Executives Early Care Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award November 9, 2016 at the Central Illinois Chapter Meeting in Dixon, IL.
The award was bestowed on McKay by Marla F. Beatty, FACHE, ACHE’s Regent for Central Illinois. The Early Career Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award recognizes ACHE members who have made significant contributions to the advancement of healthcare management excellence and the achievement of ACHE’s goals.
Members are evaluated on leadership ability; innovative and creative management; executive capability in developing their own organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community; participation in local, state or provincial hospital and health association activities; participation in civic/community activities and projects; participation in ACHE activities; and interest in assisting ACHE in achieving its objectives.
McKay joined Adkisson Search Consultants in 2002, became a partner in 2006, and Vice President in 2011.
As a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, McKay demonstrates a commitment to professional excellence. She is also a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), where she is currently an American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) Nominee. In addition, Shannon actively participates in educational curriculum’s through the American Medical Association (AMGA), state hospital association conferences, and Becker’s Hospital Review.
